Lea Michele Instagram’s A Big Anniversary With Love Matthew Paetz
It’s been a long road for Lea Michele. Back in 2013, Michele went through an excruciating time when she lost boyfriend and Glee castmate Cory Monteith after he battled drug addiction on and off. Now, Michele is experiencing happier times with her boyfriend, Matthew Paetz.
Lea Michele, who stars in Ryan Murphy’s new Scream Queens, decided to post a few photos with her boyfriend after celebrating a significant anniversary. Michele and Paetz met on the set of her music video “On My Way,” and from there the pair entered into a hush-hush relationship, as they were spotted vacationing overseas and going on adorable hikes together.
Well, as it turns out, it’s been a year since the two first met. To celebrate the occasion, Lea Michele decided to share the love on her Instagram.
In a group photo, Lea Michele posted the caption, “Dinner last night with these lovely folks! Celebrating one year since @hannahluxdavis directed me in my video On My Way! #TimeFlies #BestFriends ?.”

Michele also snapped a couples photo of just her and Matthew with the caption, “This guys pretty great too… ?.”

Back in 2014, when the couple were first hush-hush about their relationship, a source told Hollywood Life about what Matthew means to Lea.
According to the source Paetz treats Lea “like a princess” and that she’s the “happiest she’s been in a long time.”
At the time, the source continued, “She has by no means found a replacement for Cory, but there are many similarities between the two. She likes the way he treats her — like a princess. Plus he’s a complete gentleman and down to earth. She also likes that Matt has a great sense of humor and makes her laugh.”
Before they celebrated their video anniversary, the two, like many Hollywood stars, made sure to hit up Coachella.
