Amber Marchese’s Possible Cancer Return: Sudden Surgery To Remove Lump
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Amber Marchese decided to share a very personal matter on the show. Amber had survived breast cancer once before, and she was dealing with some serious emotions as she reached her 5-year mark of being cancer free. Even though Marchese is a strong survivor, the show captured her very emotional husband, who broke down during a photo shoot to celebrate her recovery.
But things have changed in New Jersey. During a movie night in early April, Amber Marchese found a lump in her breast. Amber didn’t say anything about it until this morning, when she revealed that she would be going in for surgery.
According to a new Radar Online report, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Amber Marchese is now revealing that she has found a lump in the same breast where she had breast cancer a few years back. While filming the show, Marchese reached her 5-year mark of being cancer free, but it is understandable that she is nervous.
“I lifted my arms over my head, touched the side of my breast (I am not sure what made me do that) and there it was. A small pea-sized, somewhat bean-shaped, lump,” Amber Marchese revealed on Facebook this morning, adding that the “last few weeks have been hell,” — “in complete anxiety, fear, and stress” — and that “the only thing on [her] mind [has been] that lump and [her] uncertain future.”
Amber will head to the doctor to get the lump checked out to see if it is indeed cancer. This emergency surgery will be done to ensure that the cancer doesn’t grow, if the test comes back positive for the disease. Marchese has been dealing with the emotions that this could be a fatal disease, even though she has survived once before.
“My faith in God and my physical presence in Church gave me a sense of peacefulness,” Amber Marchese added, saying, “It is all going to be fine, regardless what the outcome. I am physically strong and through my spiritual faith, I am mentally strong. I have turned to God and put my trust into Him instead of shunning Him away.”
Marchese hasn’t discussed about her possible return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but one can imagine that she would think this is a good platform to share her thoughts about her cancer survival. Since there are many fans of Teresa Giudice following the show, it may be tough for her to return. According to the Inquisitr, Amber has been very vocal about Teresa’s legal situation, and she fully supported Giudice facing justice and jail time.
