Katy Perry, John Mayer Back Together Again, Spotted On Recent Dinner Date

Katy Perry and John Mayer are back together yet again. The on-again, off-again couple were recently spotted holding hands on a dinner date. Katy and John previously broke up for the fourth time last month, but she recently had a change of heart. This dating news is enough to make fans’ heads spin. It sounds like the “Dark Horse” singer wants to give romance another chance with the singer-songwriter.

There were reports that Perry and Mayer were seen on a double date with Allison Williams last week. They were reportedly seen having drinks with friends at the Chateau Marmont. Unfortunately, there weren’t any paparazzi pics taken of Perry or Mayer. The singers were reportedly kissing and holding hands during their dinner date. An alleged insider told E! News that Perry and Mayer are “definitely” back together.

“They seemed very comfortable together and kissed several times.”

The two were last an item when the “Continuum” musician visited the singer before her 2015 Super Bowl performance. Katy and John reportedly hung out backstage all night long. Several sources close to the couple said that although the two are just friends, they were seen making out at various after-parties.

Perry is reportedly taking a break from her highly successfully Prismatic world tour. So it sounds like the singer has a lot of downtime these days. Why wouldn’t Perry have a dinner date with Mayer after he’s dumped her repeatedly? The Inquisitr previously reported that the confused couple broke up because Mayer lacked emotion in the relationship. He allegedly told his friends that his relationship with Perry was “over for good” because of a “lack of emotional interest on his end.” It sounds like Mayer can’t make up his mind either.

The last time that John and Katy were spotted together was when they were spotted having dinner at a friend’s house in Los Angeles back in January. The first time they broke up was back in February 2014, according to The Christian Post. John and Katy were reportedly happy and in love during the dinner party and they were spotted out several times after that date.

Another news source is giving a different reason for their split. The Daily Mail said that the real reason why John and Katy broke up was because she’s busy with her Prismatic world tour.

“Katy and John reconnected once she had a break in her Prismatic World Tour,’ a source close to the pair told the site. So, for those few months they had a great time, pretending that it would last – and of course it didn’t.”

“The reason they have split in the past is because Katy gets busy. John can’t handle the lack of attention, and she can’t handle the trust issues she has when she’s so far away.”
