Is Suzanne Somers Joining ‘The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’?
Could Suzanne Somers be joining the cast of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for season six? During an appearance on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live last night, the actress discussed the possibility.
After Cohen asked Suzanne Somers about the rumor, which has circulated on and off for a couple of years now, the actress left the door open for her potential addiction.
“I’ve seen that. Are you planting that?” Suzanne Somers asked Cohen, according to an E! News report on April 17.
“I loved showing up there. I don’t know if I want to be there all the time, but I loved showing up there.”
According to the report, Suzanne Somers is a close friend of Yolanda Foster, who has spent a number of years with the series, but may not continue for season six. As fans will recall, Foster has been struggling with Lyme disease for years, and in December 2014, suffered a devastating relapse, which left her unable to read, write and watch television.
Earlier this month, as the Inquisitr previously reported, Suzanne Somer’s friend, Foster, hinted that the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills may be her last, when she called her latest blog her “final” blog. While she could have meant the blog was her “final” of the season, it makes sense that she wouldn’t return, because of her dire health situation.
On April 1, Foster shared the following information with fans.
“My world has become very small. I have moved into an apartment with my husband and son in order to have a more manageable scope of responsibilities while I recover slowly and learn to take life one day at a time. Getting well is my full-time job these days.”
“I am a determined warrior, and even though this has brought me to my knees, I know God often uses our deepest pain as the launching pad of our greatest calling.”
In addition to the rumors about Suzanne Somers joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, there has also been talk about the return of Camille Grammer and Adrienne Maloof. On April 1, a source told Life & Style that Lisa Rinna and the Richards sisters, Kim and Kyle, were on the verge of being fired by Bravo after the fifth season of the series. At the time, Grammer and Maloof were noted as possible replacements.
Suzanne Somer’s name was not mentioned in Life & Style‘s report.
