The official Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice trailer video has leaked onto the internet, and already fans are getting glimpses of Bruce Wayne and his powered batsuit in addition to the Batmobile, Batplane, and much more.
In a related report by the Inquisitr , the Spider-Man reboot will be like the Batman Begins series, according to Marvel’s President, and it will largely focus on Peter Parker as a high school teenager instead of as an adult, like many recent films.
The official release of the Batman Vs Superman trailer video was not supposed to happen until Monday, April 20, 2015. The trailer was also supposed to be limited to IMAX theaters in about 100 locations, which would heavily limit who would be able to see it beforehand.
“Other theater chains may join in soon and release a list of participating IMAX theaters. Well, they will have to join in soon because Monday isn’t far away. The only other thing we really know about Monday’s trailer event is that it will last about 15 minutes. Obviously, the trailer won’t last that long so there may be build-up or a message from Zack Snyder or something else entirely.”
Of course, now that the leaked Batman Vs Superman trailer video has hit the internet, there is not much reason to see it on the big screen unless you really, really need to see those special effects in larger than life action. The quality of the leaked video is also not very good, since it was apparently recorded with a hand cam held by someone with some shaky hands.
The leaked Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice trailer video opens with a question being asked: “Is it really surprising that the most powerful man in the world should be a figure of controversy?” From there, various voiceovers show how Superman has become a controversial figure all over the world, despite saving it from General Zod in the last movie. The scene then cuts to a statue of Superman with the words “false God” written over the chest’s “S” symbol.
While the leaked Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice trailer video does not tell us exactly why Batman and Superman are fighting, we then hear Alfred lecturing Bruce Wayne, warning him that the “feeling of powerlessness turns good men cruel.” Audiences are then treated to the Batplane blowing away vehicles in the street, in addition to seeing Ben Affleck in his standard Batsuit. The Batmobile also makes a brief showing.
The leaked scene from last year’s Comic-Con is also shown, where Batman is wearing the full metal powered Batsuit while looking up at Superman. Batman then asks, “Tell me, do you bleed? You will.” In response, Superman drops to the ground, smashing the pavement in front of Batman.
While that’s a good introduction, it’s still mostly a teaser, since it does not tell us why they are fighting. We will have to wait until the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice release date on March 25, 2016 in order to find out for certain.
