Bravo Star Kim Richards Was Drinking ‘Vodka Tonics’ Prior To Alleged Alcohol Arrest
Bravo star Kim Richards was arrested this morning in Beverly Hills, California, and hours later, fans are learning more details of her reportedly alcohol-fueled arrest.
“Kim had been drinking vodka tonics all night,” a source told Radar Online of the Bravo star on April 16.
Kim was said to have been spending time at the Beverly Hills Hotel’s popular Polo Lounge at the time of her reported relapse, and according to the source, the previously recovering addict’s drinking quickly became a problem for the establishment.
“At some point after midnight, the bartender decided that Kim had enough to drink, and refused to serve her. She became very, very angry, and loudly said, ‘Don’t you know who I am?’ She eventually locked herself in a bathroom and was refusing to come out and causing a scene. Cops had to be called at that point.”
According to the report, the Bravo star, who has maintained she was sober throughout the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, was reportedly “dragged out” of the bathroom and taken into custody, where she was accused of kicking a cop.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, the Bravo star has been dealing with an intense family feud with her sister, Kyle, for the last several months, and in Kyle’s latest Bravo blog, she addressed one of their main problems.
Speaking to readers, Kyle defended herself against claims she publicized Kim’s dog’s attack on her daughter, Alexia Umansky, which took place in November of last year at the Bravo star’s home.
“Kim was upset, because I had posted pictures from the hospital. I NEVER said her dog bit Alexia. Never mentioned her OR her dog. TMZ ended up finding out that it was Kim’s dog, and she blamed me, because I posted the pictures from the hospital. I did not do that to hurt my sister in any way or to ‘get Instagram followers, like she suggested. With all of my family coming and going at the hospital, people were bound to find out and talk.”
During the recently aired reunion show, the Bravo star accused Kyle of making a big deal of Kingsley’s attack, when Umansky only suffered a little bite on her finger. However, despite Kim’s claims, that “little bite” led to an extended hospital visit and multiple surgeries.
Following the incident, the Bravo star was issued a citation, which requires her to return to court on June 10, and later released.
