Kim Richards Arrested, Mugshot Forthcoming: ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Star Booked After Fight, Reports Of Alcohol Odors, Belligerent Behavior

Bad news for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans who are fans of child star Kim Richards. According to E!, Richards was arrested in the wee morning hours on Thursday, April 16. The arrest of Kim occurred at the posh Beverly Hills Hotel — the famous beacon on Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills, California — around 1:30 a.m., after the Beverly Hills Police Department received a call from hotel security surrounding a fight that was reported to the cops.

As of this writing, a search for Kim’s mugshot on Google Images didn’t turn up an arrest photo of Richards.

Notably, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star first came to fame as the 1970s child star of several TV shows and Disney movies, such as Escape to Witch Mountain. Kim’s struggles with sobriety have been chronicled on RHOBH, along with her cantankerous relationship with her sister, Kyle Richards.

Details of Kim’s arrest at the Beverly Hills Hotel are still unfolding, however, reports of Richards acting belligerently, slurring her speech, and reeking of alcohol are what is known thus far about her arrest. The cops say that Kim hid in a bathroom and wouldn’t come out, but was delivered to the Beverly Hills Police Station to be booked, processed, and eventually is anticipated to be released.

Richards claimed on a recent Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion episode that her sobriety was still intact, however, Kyle Richards found it sad that things have gone so wrong with Kim and their sisterly relationship, reported Us Magazine. Tensions became more strained when Kyle’s daughter, Alexia Umansky, suffered an attack and bite from Kim’s pit bull, Kingsley, in 2014. Umansky departed from college in the wake of the dog bite, which was worse than viewers initially knew.

Kim has been shown screaming at Kyle often throughout the show, and called her sister a woman who didn’t act like a real sister. Even Kim’s friendship with Brandi Glanville has been called into question, reports the Inquisitr – ?an article that reported how Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans wondered if that union could survive all the housewife drama.

Nevertheless, Kyle got an oxygen facial after the melee with Kim aired, reports the Daily Mail, which has photos of the 46-year-old taking a spa break. It was an emotional reunion show that found costars accusing Kim of relapsing, and included Richards pulling out her smartphone to try and prove that Lisa Rinna sent text messages that dared violance against Kim.
