‘RHONY’ Sonja Morgan: ‘I’m Being Picked On And Shut Out’

It appears it is Sonja Morgan’s turn to have a bad season on the Real Housewives of New York. The RHONY star says the other Housewives are picking on her and shutting her out.

It is apparent from viewing the cast confessionals during the first two episodes of the seventh season that Sonja has started out on the wrong foot with many of the other Housewives, especially Ramona Singer. Lady Morgan must have felt the tension as well during filming, as she took to her Bravo blog after Tuesday night’s episode to share her thoughts of how the season has gone so far.

According to Sonja, she already felt ganged up on during the Real Housewives of New York reunion for Season 6, and those feelings are now resurfacing going into the seventh season.

“I really felt ganged up on the last time I saw all the girls at the reunion. They seem to be coming up with strange comments out of nowhere…they were attacking me left and right about my businesses and the legal crisis I was dealing with that resulted from when I was a movie producer. I had to deal with this all while going through my divorce and no support from my ex.”

Sonja Morgan feels as though what happened at last year’s reunion is happening again, but even the women she considers friends are shutting her out of their lives and doing so on purpose. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, a central theme of this season of the Real Housewives of New York seems to be the deterioration of the friendship between Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer. Speaking of Ramona’s apology to Luann on Tuesday night’s episode — which was an unbelievable act, as Bustle points out because Ramona rarely accepts responsibility for her wrongdoing — Sonja is hurt that she did not receive the same.

“What adds to everything else is that Ramona apologizes to Lu for not understanding what she has been through, having not walked in her shoes till now. Yet, she hasn’t discussed this with me. She would always give me very harsh advice, saying how I wouldn’t be divorced if I did all the things she’d done in her marriage and family life. I wish she could have paid the same respect to me.”

Sonja Morgan explains further that after watching Tuesday night’s episode, that no matter what she does, from speaking about her own experiences to pulling a beer out of her bag, she is criticized for her every move.

“I really feel I’m being picked on and shut out. No matter what I do, I cannot win.”
