Billy Joel’s Pregnant Girlfriend: Singer To Become Dad Again At 65

Billy Joel’s pregnant girlfriend, Alexis Roderick, is expecting the couple’s first child. Although Joel is already a father, Roderick’s pregnancy means that the legendary singer will be welcoming a new baby in to his life at age 65, a time in people’s lives when they are usually welcoming their grandchildren in to the world.

According to Radar Online, Roderick has been keeping a low profile in order to keep her pregnancy news under wraps. The former financial adviser has been staying home a lot so that the pregnancy wasn’t in the media. However, the cat is out of the bag now.

“She doesn’t leave the house too often because she doesn’t want anyone to know, and she wears big dresses to cover it up.”

Billy Joel’s rep has now confirmed that Alexis is pregnant, and his family is growing. The “Piano Man” crooner already has one daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, with ex-wife Christie Brinkley, and will now be adding to his family thanks to his fiancée, whom he was reportedly close friends with before the pair became romantic.

“Billy Joel and his girlfriend, Alexis Roderick, are expecting their first child this summer. The couple, together since 2009, opted to keep any further details of her pregnancy under wraps until their new addition makes an official debut.”

Us Weekly reports that Billy and Alexis will not confirm that sex of their unborn child, and that they will not be giving any further details about the pregnancy or child until the newest member of the family makes its official debut.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Billy Joel and his former baby mama, Christie Brinkley, are on good terms and continue to share in the life of their adult daughter, Alexa, who has been at the center of some drama in her young life. Ms. Joel has previously attempted suicide, and been under fire for allegedly having plastic surgery to alter to looks, especially her face, at such a young age.

However, Alex and her mother have stayed close through it all, and almost look more like sisters than mother and daughter, as Christie Brinkley is over 60-years-old and appears to have found the secret to looking great and youthful after over 6 decades of life.

Meanwhile, Billy Joel and his pregnant girlfriend will have to prepare for all the old dad jokes that the comedians like Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, David Letterman, etc., are likely going to throw his way.
