Jacqueline Laurita & Melissa Gorga Are Headed For A Feud On ‘RHONJ’ Season Seven [Report]
Jacqueline Laurita and Melissa Gorga appear to have a close friendship. Although the two didn’t know one another well prior to filming The Real Housewives of New Jersey, they have seemingly established a relationship since they met during season three — but is their friendship legit?
On April 14, Radar Online reported that the alleged friendship between Gorga and Jacqueline Laurita is all for show, and will soon come to a screeching halt.
“When Melissa and Jacqueline were originally on the show together, Melissa was all over Jacqueline. Then when Jacqueline wasn’t on the show briefly for part of last season, Melissa dumped her like she was yesterday’s news.”
The Radar Online source claimed Gorga was only interested in a friendship with Jacqueline Laurita if it were a benefit to her story line on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. So, when Laurita returned mid-way through the sixth season, the two women were once again close.
Although many would believe Jacqueline Laurita would feel used by her alleged friend, who has seemingly came in and out of her life at her own convenience, but the source claimed Laurita is on board with Gorga’s reported mentality since it is a benefit to her, as well — especially now that The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s seventh season is just around the corner.
“Jacqueline has accepted Melissa’s friendship again because Jacqueline wants Bravo to know she’s in the loop with all the women. She needs the contract for next season. All of a sudden now they are hanging out at each other’s houses. Every time they are out, they put it on social media on Facebook and Instagram to make it look like they are friends. They are trying to make it look like they hang out together, but the really don’t. They are using each other.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Jacqueline Laurita’s return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey was first reported in October of last year. At the time, a source told Radar Online that Bravo was eyeing Jacqueline Laurita for a full-time role on the series.
As fans will recall, Jacqueline Laurita was let go from the series after season five, but after Bravo noticed a major decline in ratings, they opted to bring her back, which led to increased viewership on the series. Because of this positive turn, Jacqueline Laurita’s role on the upcoming season is expected to be a sure-thing.
