Jordan Spieth’s Girlfriend, High School Sweetheart Annie Verret, Celebrates Incredible Masters Win With Her Guy

Jordan Spieth’s girlfriend, Annie Verret, was on-hand Sunday to watch her 21-year-old high school sweetheart win the Master’s Golf Championship in an epic final round, and their adorable celebratory embrace was enough to make any girl just a little bit jealous.

Not only has Jordan Spieth emerged as golf’s newest star after tying Tiger Woods record 18-under-par score, he is quickly becoming the sport’s greatest heartthrob.

Growing up in Dallas, Texas, Jordan Spieth and girlfriend Annie Verret began dating in high school and maintained a long-distance relationship while they attended different Big 12 colleges, according to The Bleacher Report.

Jordan Spieth attended the University of Texas, where he led the team in securing three events his freshman year. He would go on to lead his team in winning the NCAA title during his sophomore year, garnering All-American honors, All-Big 12 Team, Big 12 Freshman of the Year, and Player of the Year.

Jordan Spieth’s girlfriend, Annie Verret, attended Texas Tech, where she excelled academically as a business major. Earning a 4.0 GPA, Verret made the dean’s list and was named to the President’s Honor Roll twice. She currently works as an event coordinator at The First Tee of Greater Dallas.

There are many reasons why Jordan Spieth and his girlfriend are suddenly the “it” couple. For one, he is an all-around pretty good guy, according to those in the know.

Much has been reported about Jordan Spieth’s relationship with his youngest, special needs sibling, Ellie, who has helped keep Jordan Spieth level-headed despite an astronomical rise to fame.

“Being Ellie’s brother humbles me every day of my life.”

Spieth’s mother has said that Ellie has had a monumental role in shaping Jordan Spieth’s career and keeping him humble and grounded despite his incredible talent and the attention he receives.

“Jordan wouldn’t be where he’s at today if he didn’t grow up with Ellie.”

Jordan Spieth’s website also speaks of the impact his 14-year-old sister has had on his life and career.

“Jordan realizes this isn’t real life at the Masters. Trying to sit around and have dinner when his sister doesn’t want to eat when everybody else is eating and has a fit, that’s real life.”

There has been no proposal yet for Jordan Spieth’s girlfriend, Annie Verret, but the champion recently purchased a $2.3 million mansion, according to the Daily Mail, so perhaps he is laying the groundwork for a very happy life together with his girl.

It certainly has started off well for Jordan Spieth and his lovely girlfriend.
