RHOA Recap: Kenya Moore Films ‘Life Twirls On’ Pilot, Kandi Dates Todd, NeNe Leaves Again
The most recent airing of the Real Housewives of Atlanta on Sunday featured on-going drama between the ladies, with folks live-tweeting their reactions to the show under the RHOA hashtag on Twitter a-plenty. As the episode opened, Kandi Burruss prepares for a date night with her husband, Todd Tucker, but when the date rolls around Kandi discovers that Todd plans to be away working on a different project, causing more tension between the two. Todd’s show has been renewed for a second season, but Kandi lays down her feelings, telling him she doesn’t think they should be apart for more than two weeks. As a result, Todd asks Kandi to move to Los Angeles for a period of time.
NeNe Leakes, meanwhile, had her hands full getting ready to premiere on Broadway in Cinderella. It was the role of the wicked stepmother that brought NeNe out to greet fans two days before the show closed, reports the Daily Mail, but during the Real Housewives of Atlanta on Sunday, NeNe was still preparing to debut for the show — only taking time out to visit Atlanta for a benefit luncheon thrown by Phaedra Parks.

The lunch, replete with soul food, was the perfect place for Claudia Jordan to try and speak with NeNe about her reaction to their latest group counseling session — another therapy session that NeNe decided to flee when she felt the entire group was turning against her and blaming her for all of their problems.
Kenya Moore was busy filming her Life Twirls On pilot, which is still happening, according to both Bravo and Kenya’s Instagram account, and featured Cynthia Bailey starring as a woman with a Jamaican accent. Cynthia’s husband, Peter, helped her hone her accent to sound more authentic, before commenting on how much he missed his wife and wanted to play with her goodies.

Next week’s episode will be the season finale, and finally show NeNe’s Broadway debut, along with the fact that Apollo Nida calls Peter collect from prison.
As reported by the Inquisitr, RHOA show execs reportedly offered NeNe a handsome sum to stay for another season of the show in the midst of earlier rumors that claimed Leakes would be fired along with other cast mates after the season ended.
