Justin Bieber Is 18-Years-Old Today, Receives $100,000 Hybrid Sports Car
Justin Bieber turned 18 on Thursday and in celebration of his “legal” status the pop star stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres show where he received a $100,000 hybrid sports car from manager Scooter Braun.
Bieber isn’t known for his luxurious style of living but that didn’t stop Braun from presenting the sports sedan to the multi-platinum selling singer.
Justin’s manager presented him with the presented and said:
“You work really, really hard. I always yell at you, ‘Don’t get anything flashy!’ You know, we’re not about that. Be humble, be humble. And I kind of broke my own rule.”
Braun then added:
“We wanted to make sure you were environmentally friendly and we wanted to make sure since you love cars that when you’re on the road you are always environmentally friendly.”
The luxury vehicle Scooter chose for Bieber is the Fisker Karma, the same vehicle driven by Al Gore and Leonardo DiCaprio.
During his Ellen DeGeneres show he also gave fans of his music a reason to celebrate:
“My big announcement is that on March 26th my first single is coming out and it’s called ‘Boyfriend,’” he told Ellen, explaining that the song is about “Talking to this girl if I was your boyfriend I would never let you go.”
Do you think Justin Bieber is acting too humble by skirting the normal trappings of fame and fortune or is he the exact type of role model parents should want for their children?
