Jennifer Love Hewitt Talks Pregnancy: ‘I Should Probably Have 18 Children’

Jennifer Love Hewitt is enjoying her second pregnancy, although this time around is a little bit different, she admits.

For example, this time around, she’s definitely watched her eating habits a little bit more, she said.

“When I was expecting Autumn, I ate everything I saw! I told myself, ‘Oh there’s a donut — I should have that.’ Now with this second pregnancy, I know the baby really doesn’t ‘need it.’ So I eat healthy foods in general, but I also indulge in little things that I crave.”

Jennifer Love Hewitt shared her thoughts during a behind-the-scenes interview with Parents.com. Hewitt will be featured on the cover of the May issue of American Baby, which is part of the Parents network.

During the same behind-the-scenes Parents.com interview, Jennifer Love Hewitt went on to say that she really enjoys being pregnant, and when she’s finished having children, she may miss the feeling.

“I kind of feel my best when I’m pregnant, which means I should probably have 18 children. It won’t happen. But I do feel good… I will miss about being pregnant just the feeling of it, I mean, it’s really cool.”

Perhaps Jennifer Love Hewitt enjoys being pregnant so much because it allows her to relax, she said. Instead of constantly worrying about her appearance, Love Hewitt is able to eat what she likes without worrying too much about the repercussions.

“I’ve been an actress for 25 years, and have had to be hungry at times for my career, so being pregnant is completely freeing,” Hewitt told American Baby. “As somebody who’s been in this business for a long time and had to sort of be all about what your figure looks like, your regimen — I think if you can let that stuff go and really embrace what you’re doing, you feel kind of awesome.”

That doesn’t mean Jennifer is letting go completely. She’s still making healthy choices, she said. In March, this Inquisitr article reported that Hewitt keeps healthy by keeping limited amounts of tempting treats in her home.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is expecting her second child with husband actor Brian Hallisay. Her first child, Autumn, is 16-months-old.

The Criminal Minds actress announced her second pregnancy in January, and E! Online has reported that Hewitt has always wanted her children to be close in age. In the video posted on Parents.com, Jennifer talked about Autumn’s reaction to her growing baby bump.

“She’s very sweet. Every, morning and night time she’ll sort of rub my belly, and she likes to kiss the belly. It’s very cute. But I’m not quite sure that she knows what’s happening.”

Jennifer Love Hewitt has not yet revealed whether the newest addition to her family is a boy or a girl.
