Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Name New Baby Boy. It’s Not Some Weird Hollywood Concoction

Thank you Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck. It’s about time a couple of mega-celebrity parents have a baby and they don’t name it Apple or Spinach or Pilot Inspektor or whatever other names might be floating around in the “trendy” and “attention grabbing” category of Hollywood.

Ben and Jennifer welcomed a baby boy into the world this week and the 39-year-old parents wen with the name “Samuel” as in Samuel Garner Affleck.

I personally applaud the use of a regular name in Hollywood and the “Garner Affleck” naming convention was pretty cool considering they are both once again normal names.

Affleck and Garner have two other children together who they named Violet, 6, and Seraphina, 3. The latter is unique but it’s still better then naming the child after a fruit, vegetable or someone who checks over a plane before it takes off.

The couple will be married 7 years this coming soon and in celebration of their new addition Ben Affleck took to his personal Twitter Timeline to write:

“We are happy to announce on February 27, Jennifer gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Samuel Garner Affleck.”

Congratulations to the happy couple and it’s good to see Ben Affleck embracing his new Facebook roots after singing up for a Facebook account in the last few weeks.
