Justin Bieber, Kendall Jenner Romance Rumors Spark Amid Coachella Trip
Justin Bieber and Kendall Jenner have sparked dating rumors after the Biebs posted a sweet split-screen snap of himself and the model playing with the superstar’s new puppy Esther on Thursday.
Tabloid hysteria has now set in, despite the Canadian recently confirming that he is single to USA Today, and Kendall’s post of two tweets (“BFFS!” then “fo eva evaaa”) yesterday, which seemed to allude to the friendship status of her present company — Justin and their mutual pal, Hailey Baldwin.
Justin’s Instagram pic was taken while the trio made their way to the Coachella Music and Arts festival, which kicks off Friday (April 10) in Indio, California.
One side of the captionless photo shows a shirtless Justin leaning over Kendall’s shoulder, while she sits cross-legged on grass playing with his new pup, Esther. Bieber’s right hand seems to rest on the model’s waist on her right side.
The Daily Mail, one of the worst offenders in titillating reporting, breathlessly writes the following.
“The two appeared rather close, with the Baby hitmaker leaning over the model’s shoulder. His lips were inches away from her neck as he stood shirtless, clad in a pair of orange New York Knicks basketball shorts.
“Meanwhile, Kendall was in front of him, sitting on the ground while showing off her lean physique in a yellow bikini and revealing pink maxi skirt. Her brunette tresses were flowing down and her eyes were concealed with sunglasses. She displayed her maternal side while cuddling a cute canine.”
In the other snap, a still shirtless Justin is seen in the same setting playing with his pup.
Other pictures posted at the hitmaker’s social media accounts yesterday show the 21-year-old with Hailey, Kendall, and Esther en route to the festival in a vehicle. Another reveals the singer playing with the Yorkshire Terrier.
The Biebs also shared a video of himself and Hailey making a fun pit-stop on Thursday, in what he later revealed to be a Target store.

Meanwhile, over at Kendall and Hailey’s Instagrams, the two models shared fashion-y and casual shots.
Hailey’s caption to the snap below reads, “good start to Coachella.”
It is not yet known whether the friends’ getaway was spontaneous or planned. But it’s not surprising the Biebs feels like a break at Coachella. On Thursday, the internet went into a meltdown following mistaken reports claiming the rapper Big Sean posted an angry tweet about Bieber hugging Sean’s girlfriend Ariana Grande during her concert the night before.
As most pop culture watchers are aware, Justin’s romance with his last girlfriend, actress-singer Selena Gomez, ended last September, after a much-scrutinized on-off relationship of four years.
Since then, despite repeated statements from both Hailey and Justin, the rumor mill has reported the longtime pals are “rumored” to be dating, even though the gossip news cycle is the source of the rumors.
Fast forward to today, photo-shares from the trio’s adventures in Coachella are likely when the hipster throwdown gets going. Billboard reports a slew of fashion, beverage, and club-hosted pool parties are scheduled for Friday around the festival. So expect sightings of the Biebs, Kendall, and Hailey hanging out at one or more of these.
