Amber Portwood Wedding Details Revealed: Will The ‘Teen Mom’ Televise Her Nuptials?
Ever since being released from prison, Amber Portwood has been working hard to get her life back on track. After her downward spiral and prison stay, the reality show star has focused on remaining positive and staying clean, two things she has been excelling at. Another thing that has also been going well for Amber is her love life. No longer with Gary Shirley, Amber has moved on with an older man and it looks like the two have plans to get married! However, will their nuptials be televised like some of their cast mates have been?
Previously, Leah Messer-Calvert and Kailyn Lowry have had their weddings showcased on Teen Mom 2. Cameras were there to capture every moment of their big day and fans were able to watch their favorite reality show stars get married. There have also been rumors that Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra’s upcoming summer wedding will be captured for the cameras, but that has not yet been confirmed. While Cate and Ty have been vocal about wanting fans to see their wedding on television, Amber Portwood is opting for a more private affair and isn’t on board with MTV cameras at her big day.

Although she appears on a reality television show and recently went on a book tour, the Teen Mom tries to keep a mostly low profile. She was the last of the TM girls take to social networking and, even on Twitter, she doesn’t say much and remains very positive. It seems in her private time that she will focus on planning the wedding of her dreams, an affair which she wants to be “perfect.”
Few details of the wedding between Amber Portwood and Matt Baier, her 43-year-old boyfriend, have been revealed but Radar is reporting that Amber will opt to get married in Indiana, where she lives. A wedding party has not been announced, but sources confirm that two special family members will indeed play a role in her big day. Her brother, Shawn, with whom Amber has a close relationship with and her cousin, Krystal, will both be involved in her big day.
For those fans holding out hope to see Amber’s wedding on Teen Mom, it doesn’t look like it is going to happen. The Radar report confirmed that a potential wedding special “hasn’t even been discussed” with MTV.
Aside from wedding planning, Amber has been very busy with many different things in her life. Amber continues to promote her book, Never Too Late, and on top of filming with MTV, she also attends school.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Amber Portwood also hopes to have “more of a say” in her daughter’s life and could potentially file for joint custody in the future. Her ex-boyfriend, Gary Shirley, currently has custody of their daughter.
