‘Le Sauvage — The Wild (Lovers Like Us)’ Starring Catherine Deneuve Coming To TV5Monde-USA

Le Sauvage — The Wild (Lovers Like Us) will make its debut on TV5Monde USA tomorrow night. The French comedy film first debuted in 1975 and is also known under the title Call Me Savage. It stars French actress Catherine Deneuve.

Le Sauvage – The Wild (Lovers Like Us) centers around a woman who is engaged to a man she doesn’t really love. After waking up one day, she takes one look at him and knows there is no possible way that she can marry him. When she leaves him, she ends up at a hotel where she meets a handsome Frenchman who lives on a lovely island close to the Caribbean. She is instantly taken with his charm, and the two fall madly and passionately in love with each other. But the relationship is not without its problems since her former fiance is hell bent on winning her back. The film contains a mild element of violence and has a rating of PG.

The movie reviews for 1975 indicate that the old movie was touted as a film that lacked few “dull moments” and was sure to keep people in their seats. In the 1970s and 1980s, Catherine Deneuve was described as an exceptional actress with the grace and dramatic prescence of Greta Garbo and Joan Crawford. Often called the “ice queen” because of her standoffish and mysterious allure, Deneuve simply stated that she was a woman who likes to keep to herself and was a woman of few friends except for some producers and directors.

Today, Catherine Deneuve continues to act and is still as lovely as ever. In recent years, the Paris, France, born actress has completed roles in the 2014 movies 3 Hearts and In The Courtyard.
