Justin Bieber, Skrillex And Diplo’s ‘Where Are Ü Now’ Single Heads To Radio April 21
Justin Bieber’s stunning song collab with Jack Ü’s Skrillex and Diplo, “Where Are Ü Now” will be sent to radio within the next two weeks.
According to Mediabase via AllAccessMusicGroup, the EDM mid-tempo will be rolled out as a single on April 21.
Headline Planet reports the track is a tie with Iggy Azalea’s “Trouble (featuring Jennifer Hudson),” and R5’s “Let’s Not Be Alone Tonight” for the eighth-most added song in major markets at radio.
Written by Justin Bieber, Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd, with production, arrangement, and likely writing credit to the Jack Ü duo, the bittersweet banger is one of 10 tracks on the Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü album. It was released during the pair’s (not-quite), 24-hour DJ set at the end of February.
Since then, “Where Are Ü Now” has generated widespread glowing reviews and racked up impressive streaming figures on Spotify in the U.S. and around the world, making the Top 10.
So far, it has pulled in over 12 million views on SoundCloud, while Jack Ü’s YouTube post of the track is just shy of 7 million “Likes.”

Ahead of a probable video, the trio launched “Where Are Ü Now” off to a flying start on the live front when Bieber and Diplo joined Skrillex to close his headlining set at Miami’s Ultra Music Festival on March 29. They boys kicked off a radio tour the day after with local radio stations, including Power 96 and Y100 Miami.
During interviews, Bieber and Diplo revealed Jack Ü will be collaborating on the singer’s in-progress, new album.
At Power 96, Bieber said, “Yeah, I think me and these guys are going to collaborate on my next album and do something really special. Really world-changing.”
Since then, the Biebs performed the song as a surprise guest at Ariana Grande’s concert at The Forum in Inglewood, Los Angeles on Wednesday night (April 8.)
The two singers also sang Grande’s song with The Weeknd “Love Me Harder,” before the heartthrob took the stage solo to perform “Where Are Ü Now.” The pair capped their vocal pax de deux with Bieber’s “As Long As You Love Me.”
A further radio-boost for the single will come from Bieber’s upcoming shows at KIIS FM’s Wango Tango in L.A. on May 9 and a headlining summer date at the UK’s Fusion Festival on August 28.
An enthusiastic endorsement from multi-Grammy Award winner, Sam Smith added to the ongoing buzz surrounding the song. On Wednesday (April 8), Smith tweeted:
Fucking LOVE this. So beautiful x @justinbieber @skrillex @diplo https://t.co/uPwPwsdXsw

Despite predictable carping from some, Bieber’s comeback following well-documented legal woes and dramas – some of which were exaggerated or invented – is going well.
Post his Calvin Klein campaign, magazine covers, numerous appearances on Ellen, his multiple, heartfelt apologies, and a Comedy Central Roast, the 21-year-old is prepping his fourth album, which is co-produced by Def Jam Records founder Rick Rubin and Kanye West.
Justin Bieber fans certainly appears eager to start requesting “Where Are Ü Now” at radio and buying more copies to send it up the charts.
