‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Season 2 Premiere Date Announced: When Will It Begin?

Season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise premieres this summer and now fans can start the countdown toward a specific date. The cast may not be in place yet, but ABC has just announced when the fun will begin. What’s known so far about this second installment of the guilty summer pleasure spin-off from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette ?

Entertainment Weekly shares that the Bachelor in Paradise premiere for Season 2 will air on Sunday, August 2. That will be a two-hour episode and then the show settles into its regular time slot on Monday, August 3.

Of course everybody is dying to know which Bachelor and Bachelorette stars will be looking for love in paradise this time around. Naturally there will be many familiar faces from Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff’s season of The Bachelor that wrapped earlier this spring.

Fans can also prepare to see at least a few guys from the Bachelorette 2015 spring season. Could Britt Nilsson also pop up, given the Bachelorette spoilers that she might be available? Fans will have to stay tuned for that possibility, though she may find love in the meantime.

According to Buddy TV , Ashley Iaconetti, Megan Bell and Carly Waddell are solid possibilities and fans already know that Chris Harrison is dying to see Ashley Salter pop up in paradise as well. However, Becca Tilley has indicated that she doesn’t see it as a fit for her.

It seems that Kelsey Poe, a very polarizing contestant from Soules’ season, may be up for doing the show, at least that’s what she indicated after the Bachelor finale. That would be quite interesting to see, given how much she hated the lake group date she was on during Chris’ season. Plus, there’s the awkward fact she’s supposedly threatened to sue the show over her edit. Perhaps Bachelor in Paradise fans shouldn’t hold their breath on this one.

What about some of the earlier franchise folks? It seems very likely that at least a few constants from Season 1 will return to look for love yet again, along with some others who have been on previous Bachelor or Bachelorette seasons but have been away for a bit.

Will anybody find love this summer? While Michelle Money and Cody Sattler split a few months after the first season, Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul are still going strong. Stay tuned for Bachelor in Paradise spoilers for Season 2 as filming nears and start counting down to that August 2 premiere date.
