‘Bold And Beautiful’ Star Linsey Godfrey Talks Accident, Recovery, And Love From Her Co-Stars
Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful are thrilled to see Linsey Godfrey back on-screen in the character of Caroline Spencer. After an accident in February, Godfrey needed surgery and was in the hospital for some time. Now she’s back and opening up about the ordeal.
Linsey Godfrey talked with Entertainment Tonight about all that has happened. The Bold and the Beautiful star had been walking down a street in Los Angeles in February when she was hit by a car that had been involved in a collision with another car.
Godfrey now says, “I didn’t really understand. I mean, I saw my feet and kind of the state that they were in, which was not facing the right direction.”
Initial reports on Godfrey’s accident indicated that she had injuries to both legs and she was rushed into surgery. Linsey says that she had two dislocated and broken ankles, and her fibula and tibula went through the skin. She’s now had two surgeries and she’s tackling physical therapy.
Though the early days were scary ones for fans and surely for Linsey and her family, she is expected to make a full recovery. Godfrey has shared a few photos via Instagram that show her healing from the accident. She currently has boots on both legs and some posts show her working on using a walker.
Of course Linsey’s love Robert Adamson, who plays Noah Newman on The Young and the Restless, has been by her side throughout this challenging ordeal. However, Godfrey shares with ET how supportive her B&B co-stars have been as well. She’s clearly been surrounded by lots of love by those in her life as well as her fans.
While Linsey still has a ways to go in her recovery, it seems she is feeling up to tackling work again and Caroline reappeared on The Bold and the Beautiful on Wednesday’s episode. As Soap Opera Digest notes, the show has it set up that Caroline has been visiting her mother in New York as her divorce from Rick is processed.
Caroline will be returning to town soon, it seems, and apparently her injuries will be written into the show. Bold and Beautiful fans will certainly be curious to see just how this all comes together, but they’re glad to hear that Godfrey is feeling up to working and is moving along in her recovery.
