Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck Welcome A Baby Boy!
According to US Weekly, sources have confirmed that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, both 39, welcomed their third child, a healthy baby boy.
There’s no word on when the boy was born but sources confirmed that it was in Santa Monica, California. The Affleck’s littlest ones join older sisters Violet, 6, and Seraphina, 3.
Jennifer Garner was mum on the baby’s sex after revealing the sex of her first child accidentally on the Jay Leno show in 2005. However, in January the actress did spill some insight to friend Leno, “I would have thought [he wanted a boy]. At first…I really thought so, And then [Ben] kind of said, ‘Well, we have girls. We know how to do girls. My girls love me. I’m the big guy in the house.’ So, now I’m not sure.”
The actress went on to joke that her two daughters had a big role in picking the younger brother’s name saying that most of the names picked were Disney themed. “[They suggested] Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse Affleck, and then they moved on…[to] Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Smee.”
Jennifer Garner also played coy about the sex to Ellen DeGeneres while she was on the show, “Everyone says, ‘Oh I hope it’s a boy.’ I’m one of three girls, and my little sister is awesome, so I just want a Suzanna … but obviously we’d be happy either way. It would be so weird to have a boy, and cool and different; and I’m sure it would be fun for Ben, he likes baseball and all that stuff … but a third girl: Three girls is a great way to grow up.”
A rep for Garner has not yet commented. Maybe proud father Ben will announce it on his newly minted Facebook account? After all, the actor just joined and what would be a more exciting thing to publish on the timeline than the birth of his third child and first baby boy?
