Urkel Joins ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Cast
The smoothest man to ever grace a television set is joining the cast of “Dancing With the Stars.” The one and only Urkel, AKA Jaleel White, will be getting his groove on during the 14th season of the ABC hit show along with Jack Wagner of “Melrose Place,” Melissa Gilbert from “Little House on the Prairie,” Sherri Shepherd of “The View,” and Motown legend Gladys Knight.
Jaleel White will also be going up against Tennis legend Martina Navratilova, opera singer Katherin Jenkings, TV host Maria Menounos, Disney star Roshon Fegan, NFL player Donald Driver, Gavin DeGraw from the band Bush, and Telenovela actor William Levy.
The celebrity cast will be joined by a team of professional dancers, including last year’s winner Karina Smirnoff.
J.R Martinez, Cheryl Burkey, Derek Hough, Anna Trebunskaya, Tristan McManus, Mark Ballas, and Maskim Chmerkosviskiy will also be returning to the show this year.
Chmerkosviskiy’s brother Val will join the “Dancing With the Stars” cast.
White isn’t a sure thing to win this year’s dance competition, but I’m pretty sure he’s the only contestant this year that already has his own dance.
