Jill Duggar Baby Arrival: ’19 Kids And Counting’ Star Welcomes Baby Boy With Hubby Derick Dillard
The newest 19 Kids and Counting family addition has finally arrived! Derick Dillard and Jill Duggar’s baby boy has finally been born, and it seems that all is well with both mama and baby. Reports indicate that Jill and Derick welcomed baby Israel David on Monday, April 6.
As many 19 Kids fans anticipated, People got the scoop first. They have the first picture of Derick, Jill and Israel along with the scoop on “Baby Dilly’s” arrival. Though Jill had been due in late March, Israel David waited until Monday, April 6 to make his appearance.
It seems that Derick Dillard and Jill Duggar’s baby finally arrived at 11:49 p.m. Monday night and he weighed 9 lbs., 10 oz. It is said that both Jill and Israel are doing well. The first photo from the family shows the Dillards all together at the hospital, with baby Israel yawning and Jill and Derick smiling.
Jill was originally due on March 24, but she anticipated that it might take until April 5 for the baby to arrive as she noted that many first babies go late. From the sounds of things, Israel David simply wasn’t in a rush to arrive and Jill had said she was prepared for him to arrive whenever he was ready.

Jill and Derick had planned a home birth for baby Israel with the help of family and a midwife team. Many 19 Kids and Counting fans are commenting on the family’s Facebook page about the photo showing the three Dillards together having been taken in a hospital room, so it seems the delivery may not have gone entirely according to initial plans. However, many other show fans are pointing out that the key is that both Jill and Israel are doing well.
People previously shared that Jill and Derick will be sharing Israel’s birth with fans in an upcoming 19 Kids and Counting special. While viewers had to wait quite some time to see the Dillard wedding air on TLC, that won’t be the case this time. The special featuring Derick Dillard and Jill Duggar’s baby delivery will air on May 5 and will be two hours long. Fans will surely get more details then regarding how the birth went and what challenges may have popped up.
