Kendall Jenner’s skin-baring Easter outfit definitely raised a few eyebrows over the weekend, but her crop top wasn’t quite as scandalous as the nude photo that she used as a “hoppy” holiday greeting.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashian star caused quite a stir by wearing a white crop top to church on Sunday. The entire Kardashian clan can be seen rocking white in the photos of their Easter outing, so maybe the skimpy halter wrap was all Kendall Jenner could find while the group was color-coordinating their wardrobe for the weekend photo op. However, the model probably has more clothes in her closet than 99.9 percent of people on the planet, so you’d think that she could find something more substantial that wouldn’t have caused such a scandal.

Unsurprisingly, some people questioned Kendall’s sartorial choice — after all, crop tops probably don’t pop up in church very often. Many mothers wouldn’t let their daughters show that much skin in a place of worship, but Kendall Jenner doesn’t have just any mother — she has a momager who has learned that any publicity is good publicity (if you’re a Kardashian/Jenner). Jezebel speculated that the fashion-obsessed Kardashian clan and Yeezus have invented their own religion that doesn’t frown upon trying to turn church into a fashion show where anything goes.
“Maybe there’s a clause in their contract with E! that says they can have their own religion, where wearing bra tops to holy celebrations is encouraged.”
X17 Online criticized Kendall Jenner for not trying to be classier than her sisters.
“We thought Kenny had more class than her sisters, but apparently they are all cut from the cloth! The cat walker received a ton of criticism over her racy Easter Sunday looks, and many fans were quick to point out how inappropriate it was to attend church services in such a sexy get-up.”
SheKnows praised Kendall’s sense of style, but chastised the teen for choosing the wrong time and place to rock her sexy outfit .
“Kendall Jenner is a beautiful young woman and she’s making waves in the modeling industry, but perhaps she should leave her high-fashion garments at home when she attends more conservative places, like, say, church on Easter Sunday.”

Kendall Jenner didn’t just cause controversy by showing a little stomach skin — she also shocked her fans with a very racy Easter greeting. In honor of the Christian holiday, she shared an uncensored version of the Instagram photo below that features a bottomless girl rocking bunny ears and a sweater over her head.
“Woke up like Hoppy Easter!” she captioned the photo.
Many of Kendall’s followers assumed that she is the half-naked model in in the photo above, but E! News reports that the photo features someone else. According to E! , that the photo got just as much “shade, shade, shade” as Kendall’s Easter crop top.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Kylie Jenner also caused an Instagram scandal over the weekend. However, she was accused of rocking blackface , not being blasphemous.
