Blue Ivy, Beyonce And Jay-Z Head Out For New York Lunch Date

Blue Ivy, with her baby photos all over the web and her name already trademarked, is well versed in this celebrity lifestyle … even if she’s yet to turn eight weeks old.

So what’s next? Easy! A New York lunch date with Jay-Z and Beyonce – also known as Mom and Pops.

The family were papped in New York City on Saturday, stopping by at Sant Ambroeus restaurant in the West Village (sample menu items include a $13 minestrone soup and a $23 ravioli with butternut squash dish – some modest dining!). Blue Ivy was well wrapped up, and held tight against mom Beyonce’s front.

The superstar couple seem determined to maintain some privacy for their newborn daughter. While the couple shared some early photos of Blue Ivy Carter on Jay-Z’s web site, the paparazzi have been kept well at bay since.

In the photos already posted, the rapper and his soul singer wife are pictured separately, taking turns holding their new bundle of joy. Unbeknownst to Blue Ivy, she had already become the subject of Jay-Z’s most recent hit song, ‘Glory‘.

So it’s been quite an entrance to the world for young Blue Ivy, and that’s not even mentioning the $1.5 million that the proud parents reportedly splashed on their daughter. Diamond-encrusted high chair and a lucite crib, anyone? Those are some fiiine hand-me-downs.
