Khloe Kardashian is defending stepfather Bruce Jenner after Jamie Foxx attempted to mock the Olympic gold medalist about his gender transition. Jamie’s comments came while he was hosting the iHeart Radio Music Awards , reported the Daily Mail .
“I just think it’s a low blow,” accused Khloe. “I think it’s very mean.”
As for Bruce’s transition?
“I wish him all the best,” declared his stepdaughter.
In addition, Khloe revealed that she felt Foxx made those comments deliberately to get publicity for himself.
“I know Jamie, so I think that’s also why that’s a really low blow. But hey, guess that’s what he felt the need to do for a little press.”
So just what did the 47-year-old comedian and actor say?
“Bruce Jenner will be here doing some musical performances. He’s doing a his and her duet all by himself,” announced Foxx while hosting the televised show.
Social media quickly responded, accusing him of making transphobic comments.
Later in the show, Jamie attempted to semi-apologize, but then exacerbated the situation.
“Look, I’m just busting your balls… while I still can,” added Foxx.
Meanwhile, in the aftermath of a car crash in which Jenner was involved that resulted in the death of Kim Howe, new threats of a lawsuit have been raised, reported Us Weekly .
Kim Howe’s stepchildren are allegedly putting together the materials needed to file a wrongful death lawsuit. However, because they were estranged from their stepmother, their ability to prove their case is limited.
Bruce released an official statement about the crash.
“It is a devastating tragedy and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them. I will continue to cooperate in every way possible.”
For Jenner, however, the possibility of that lawsuit has exacerbated his ongoing stress over how his family has responded to his announcement that he is transitioning from male to female , as the Inquisitr reported.
After reading interviews that his daughters provided about his announcement, Bruce pleaded with them to stop talking about him with the media. He is planning both a documentary about his transition and an interview with Diane Sawyer.
At least part of that interview with Sawyer has already been taped prior to the car crash, according to the Boston Herald .
But just days after talking with the ABC News anchor and visiting New York City, the car crash occurred. That tragedy has left Jenner depressed, said an insider.
“This couldn’t have come at a worse time for him,” revealed a source. “He is in a state of shock.”
