Robert Pattinson Engaged: Robert, FKA Twigs Engaged After Dating For Six Months

Robert Pattinson is engaged! According to People Magazine, Pattinson popped the question to his girlfriend, FKA Twigs, after dating her for just six months. Apparently, the news wasn’t supposed to leak out to the press, but T-Pain spilled the beans in a recent interview. He was supposed to record music with FKA Twigs, but when asked about the collaboration, T-Pain said that he wasn’t sure what was going to happen because the singer is now engaged.

“Yeah, to ‘ol Patty [Robert Pattinson]. I don’t know if she wanted anybody to know that,” T-Pain said. He later tried to cover up his slip of tongue by posting a message on Twitter claiming that it was just an April Fool’s Day prank, but People Magazine confirmed that Rob and his lady really are getting married… like, for real.

Robert Pattinson got engaged rather quickly, but sources close to him say that he is truly in love, and that he and FKA Twigs have a really strong relationship. According to AZ Central, Pattinson gave the British singer girlfriend a “promise ring” back in December. Sources now confirm that he’s given her an actual engagement ring as a follow up on his word.

Rob and FKA Twigs have been inseparable since they started dating last fall. Rob has traveled the world with FKA Twigs, going to different venues with her, and really supporting her career. As a musician himself, Pattinson really seems to appreciate the creative side of his lady, and really loves to see her in her element.

News of Robert Pattinson’s engagement is heartbreaking for Robsten fans, who spent the past couple of years hoping that Rob would reconcile with his ex-girlfriend, Kristen Stewart. However, Stewart cheated on Rob with Snow White And The Huntsman direct Rupert Sanders, and that was an unbelievable embarrassment for RPatz, who just couldn’t forgive and forget.

As for Kristen Stewart, she has seemingly moved on from her relationship with Rob as well. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, there have been several rumors that Kristen has been dating her gal-pal, Alicia Cargile. Sources say the two women have gotten close, and that speculation has only been fueled by paparazzi photos that include hand holding and canoodling.

No word on how Stewart feels about her ex taking the next big step in his relationship with FKA Twigs, but she will likely be asked about it in the next interview that she does.
