Michael Cerussi Dumped Bethenny Frankel? He Hates ‘RHONY’ [Report]
Michael Cerussi reportedly dumped The Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel because he hated the Bravo reality show. On April 1, Radar Online claimed Michael Cerussi didn’t want to become a reality star.
According to the report, a source revealed the following of Michael Cerussi to Life & Style magazine.
“[Michael Cerussi] knew they’d want him on the show, and he wasn’t about to put his life out there.”
Although Frankel left her role on The Real Housewives of New York City after the series’ third season years ago, she announced in October of last year that she would be returning to Bravo. Because she was dating Michael Cerussi at the time, fans expected him to sign on to the series, as well.
Unfortunately for viewers, Michael Cerussi wasn’t ready to expose his dirty laundry to the world.
“He’s a party boy and doesn’t want everyone in America knowing who he is and what he does.”
Michael Cerussi began dating Frankel one year after she and Jason Hoppy filed for divorce. During a New Year’s Even party at the end of 2013, Michael Cerussi and Frankel went public with their relationship, posing for a cozy photo in Miami. Since then, the couple have rarely been seen together, and Frankel rarely acknowledged she was dating. Then, during an interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live just over a week ago, Frankel confirmed she and Michael Cerussi had split.
As the Inquisitr reported, Frankel later confirmed the news with the press, telling PEOPLE Magazine she was “single.” However, in the March interview, Frankel didn’t mention Michael Cerussi by name.
“I’ve been through a lot with exposing all my personal life so I’m not making any grand statements anymore, but if there was somebody significant I would [say so].”
As for future relationships, the now-ex of Michael Cerussi didn’t seem ready to get back in the dating game.
“I’ve never dated anyone in this crazy world that I live in now and I don’t think I would want to. I would only want to date someone low-profile.”
In regard to why Frankel and Michael Cerussi called it quits, a source told E! News the couple was struggling with their differing lifestyles. While Cerussi was said to be a partier, Frankel is a business woman and mother of a young child.
The Real Housewives of New York City season 7 premieres on April 7 at 9 p.m. on Braov. Michael Cerussi is expected to make a few guest appearances.
