Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Relatives And Chaka Khan Speak Out As Dr. Phil And Bobby Brown Talk Nick Gordon [Video]

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition has not changed since the 22-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown was found unconscious in the home that she shared with beau Nick Gordon. In the days that have passed since Nick discovered her lying face down in a bathtub, Gordon has become the subject of an investigation as to his part, if any, on precipitating her health crisis, reported the VC Post.

When Bobbi Kristina was rushed from her home on January 31, she was placed on life support in a hospital’s ICU, including a feeding tube and ventilator. Doctors also put the young woman into a medically induced coma in an attempt to help reduce the brain swelling that had resulted in a temporary loss of oxygen.

Now, with physicians unable to detect any progress, Bobbi Kristina has been moved from that ICU to a long-term care facility. But Gordon has been banned from seeing her in the hospital.

While Bobbi Kristina lies unconscious in that rehab facility, Nick is now in a very different type of rehab to treat what Dr. Phil termed his abuse of both drugs and alcohol, as the Inquisitr reported.

The 25-year-old garnered attention when he took to Twitter to post pleas to Bobby Brown to allow him to visit Bobbi Kristina. Known as the “adopted son” of Whitney Houston, Nick also seemed to threaten suicide, which resulted in an interview with Dr. Phil that quickly became an intervention.

Dr. Phil told Extra that the decision to reach out to Nick came from a plea by Gordon’s lawyers.

“They say, ‘Listen, we need help… I know you came to do an interview, but he is out of control and we are worried for his life. We think he will self-destruct.’ It was clear to me that all of a sudden this interview became an intervention.”

However, Bobby Brown paints a very different picture of Nick Gordon, according to NBC News. Brown contended that Nick refused to reveal precisely what happened on that fateful day when he found her unconscious. Until Gordon complies, Bobby is banning him.

“Obviously Mr. Gordon is not as desperate to visit Bobbi Kristina as he wants the world to believe. At least not desperate enough to inform Bobby Brown, in writing, what happened to Bobbi Kristina,” stated Christopher Brown, one of Bobby Brown’s attorneys.

In addition, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s aunt, Leolah Brown, offered her own views on Nick Gordon, reported People.

“Nick Gordon is under investigation for the attempted murder of my niece Bobbi Kristina Brown,” she posted to social media. “We have strong evidence of foul play.”

Jerod Brown, who is the cousin of Bobbi Kristina, recently was arrested, as the Inquisitr reported. Jerod has repeatedly offered separate updates on her health and produced a music video intended to encourage people to pray for his cousin, shown below.

Jerod thanked people for their support on his Facebook page.

Offering a similar view about Bobbi Kristina’s struggles was Chaka Khan. The legendary singer, who was close to Whitney Houston, revealed her own heartbreak. In addition, Chaka shared her inside knowledge of how the 22-year-old girl’s family, including her 81-year-old grandmother Cissy Houston, is coping, reported the Mirror.

“I’ve been in conversation with the family. Everyone’s devastated, everyone. I love Bobbi Kristina, I love Whitney, I love Bobby Brown. I love Cissy – I love them all. But we just have to wait for what happens next. All I want to do is be there for them. I just need to pray.”
