Kim Kardashian Shares Contouring Make-Up Tips On Instagram [Photos]

In the past, Kim Kardashian has taken to Instagram to reveal to her fans the exact steps to getting that popular contouring make-up look that seems to give all the Kardashian women chiseled cheekbones and strong jawlines — and now, Kim is at it again. Posted approximately 20 hours ago, on Monday, March 30, this Instagram photo of Kardashian displays a different view of the contoured cosmetics look that Kim has shown her Instagram followers in the past, and displays more of her secrets for sculpting a prominent nose.

The Instagram photo reveals darker foundation on the sides of Kim’s nose and lighter foundation on the bridge of the nose, with the dark makeup interestingly not following onto the tip or underside of her nose. As usual, Kim turned “contour” into “kontour,” giving certain words their signature “K” first letter.

Within 20 hours, the contouring make-up photo had received more than 12,000 comments and greater than 600,000 likes on Instagram, proving that any time Kim dishes out make-up tips, folks are going to listen. As reported by the Inquisitr, Kardashian has not only been the focus of fashion icons due to her recent hair color changes from platinum blonde back to brunette again, but also the subject of plenty of conversations due to Kim’s attempts to have a second child with her husband, Kanye West.

Even though Kim is a big fan of contouring her face with various shades of foundation, even she admits that too much contouring can make her nose look too small, reports Us. Kim has seen photos of herself with too much contoured cosmetics applied that don’t look right, she said, and spoke of make-up artists that go overload on the contouring to the point whereby Kardashian appears as if she’s had a nose job or other plastic surgery — and that’s going too far.

Indeed, a simple search for the word “contouring” on YouTube turns up a plethora of video tutorials teaching others the process of highlighting and shaping their faces using contouring make-up kits — some of the videos enjoying millions of views. Although Kylie Jenner recently had a cleavage contouring mishap, reports Us Magazine, and some claim the style is on the way out, contouring tutorials still rule the roost, says the Huffington Post, with many women using the make-up trick to reshape their faces.
