Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson have been followed by relationship rumors since their chemistry-heavy debut on Dancing With the Stars two weeks ago. The pair have been coy about the stories, even if those close to them seem to approve of the relationship, if one does exist. Fellow DWTS pro Derek Hough recently told media that Robert is exactly the kind of partner Kym has always looked for.
In a new interview with eTalk , Herjavec and Johnson were asked what was behind those ballroom sparks. Robert has a surprising answer, revealing Kym has another special one in her life.
“We do have a lot of chemistry. We get along really well, she’s a lot of fun to hang out with. But she’s already in a relationship with somebody — she has a great dog.”
TMZ spotted Herjavec planting a kiss on Johnson earlier this month and questioned whether the pair were indeed in a platonic relationship. eTalk quotes an unnamed source who claims they were kissing in Toronto Thursday night. They were in the city rehearsing as Herjavec balances his work duties with The Herjavec Group with his appearances on Dancing With the Stars .

Herjavec’s Shark Tank co-star Kevin O’Leary had some words to say to eTalk about his rumored union with Johnson. The investor known as “Mr. Wonderful” on the ABC program took a jibe at his colleague by making subtle reference to the age difference between Kym, 38, and Robert, 51.
“Here’s the thing about this rumour: you think about it, she’s a spring chicken. Robert, he’s just a chicken. And you know I’m Mr. Wonderful, I know the ways of love, and I’m telling you the Hollywood rule is this: if you have more than a 50-year difference, you’ve got problems.”
Herjavec gushed about Johnson in a Parade interview published last week. In addition to giving some intel for Shark Tank fans — that he’s working on the show’s spinoff Beyond the Tank — he said that Dancing With the Stars is a better workout than going to the gym.
“That’s the magic and ability of the show—that dancers teach non-dancers and it works. I lost five pounds the first week and I can appreciate that dancers are such incredible athletes.”
“I was going to the gym before the show, but no need for that now. I’m really into this. Kym asks, ‘Are you sure you want to rehearse longer?’ Yes! I’m loving it! I’m fully committed to this.”
