Atlanta Spa Shooting: 5 Dead in Murder-Suicide at Su Jung Health Spa in Norcross
Authorities say five people were shot dead Tuesday night in what police suspect was a murder-suicide at the Su Jung Health Spa in Norcross, Georgia.
According to police, surveillance video shows a man walking into the Health Spa and getting into an argument, then opening fire.
Four of the five victims – none of whom have been identified – were already dead when police officers arrived at the suburban Atlanta spa. A fifth victim was pronounced dead at a local hospital, said Norcross police Capt. Brian Harr.
Captain Brian Harr also added that investigators consider the Tuesday night shooting to be more of an isolated event than a random one.
Although many details about the incident remain uncertain at this time, it is believed that the shooter, who has not been identified, is among the dead.
Police said the weapon which they believed was used by the gunman was found at the scene.
Georgia Bureau of Investigation spokesman John Bankhead said the agency was using 3-D technology to reconstruct the crime scene.
