Number one overall seed Kentucky was able to hold off a very tough Notre Dame team 68-66 in one that could have gone either way. The Wildcats looked like they may end up with their first loss of the season, but they stay undefeated and are one step closer to a championship.
Wisconsin also had a tough time as they faced off with another team of Wildcats in Arizona, but they were able to pull out a victory 85-78. Wisconsin and Kentucky will now pair off in a rematch from last year.
On Sunday, there were two more games to decide the other teams in the 2015 NCAA Final Four, and they were just as good as those on Saturday.
In the unexpected game from the Elite 8, 7th-seeded Michigan State was able to upset yet another team as they took out 4th-seeded Louisville 76-70 in overtime. The teams traded leads and ties throughout the whole game, but the Spartans were able to pull away in the extra five-minute period.
The second game on Sunday didn’t finish as close, but it was throughout most of its entirety. Gonzaga just couldn’t do enough to overcome the tough Blue Devils, as Duke ended up winning 66-52.
