Jill Duggar’s Due Date Passes, Derick Dillard Shares A Silly Baby Dilly Joke
Jill Duggar’s family members must be getting pretty bored while they wait for Baby Dilly to arrive. The newest addition to the cast of 19 Kids and Counting is fashionably late, and his biggest fans have come up with a few ways to pass the time while they wait.
Jill Duggar’s hubby, Derick Dillard, has been sharing Instagram photos while he anxiously awaits the arrival of his first child. As the Inquisitr previously reported, he recently shared what will most likely be the final photo of Jill’s baby bump. It was taken two days after her March 24 due date.
Derick also recently posted an Instagram-related joke about Baby Dilly. The wisecrack below is courtesy of an excited Granny Dilly, and it’s extremely silly. However, at least it’s funnier than Derick hitting a cat with a sled.
“@Instagram My mom has said that once #babydilly is born, she will be an ‘insta-gram’ lol. #Newgrandma #instagram”
Derick Dillard isn’t just entertaining himself on social media while he waits to become a first-time father — he and Jill Duggar are also trying to take their minds off Baby Dilly’s late arrival by doing a little charity work. According to Us Weekly, the 19 Kids and Counting stars recently volunteered at the Compassion Center in Springdale, Arkansas. According to the Cross Church Compassion Center website, it’s “a thrift store, a life skills and job resource center, and a place where we hope to meet people’s physical and spiritual needs.”
Volunteers like Jill can work at the thrift store by sorting and pricing items, manning the cash registers, doing laundry, and taking in donations. Jill snapped the Instagram photo below during her shift at the store.
As you can see, she doesn’t look too concerned about Baby Dilly being late. During a recent interview with People, Jill revealed that she’s so cool and calm about still be pregnant because she actually gave herself a second due date: Easter Sunday (April 5).
“I have told myself, ‘First-time moms often go a week and a half over, so don’t get discouraged.'”
However, it’s hard not to stress about Baby Dilly taking his sweet time when so many people are impatiently waiting on him. Jill Duggar had something to say in response to the 19 Kids and Counting fans who are begging for an exact date to expect the baby’s arrival.
“The baby will come when the baby comes.”
Unfortunately, fans can’t help but worry about Jill’s little dill pickle in the oven. As the Inquisitr previously reported, an ambulance showed up at the Dillard house on Jill’s due date. Jill and Derick still haven’t explained why it was there, but obviously mother, baby, and daddy are all doing fine now.
Do you think Jill Duggar’s family will do a little extra celebrating if her baby waits until Easter Sunday to arrive?
