Kyle Richards Denies Hubby Mauricio Umansky Demanded She Cut Ties With Kim Richards
Did Kyle Richards really get an ultimatum from her husband, Mauricio Umansky, when it comes to her sister Kim Richards, as Radar Online reported earlier in the week? According to Kyle herself, no. On Thursday, All Things Real Housewives reported that Kyle told the website that Radar‘s story is not true.
“My husband would never say that. This is not true at all.”
The fraught and troubled relationship between sisters Kyle and Kim have been a central storyline of Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Throughout the past season, Kyle and Kim frequently argued and screamed at one another. Kyle, in particular, often ended up in tears.
A source is quoted by Radar as saying that Mauricio wants Kyle to “keep her distance” from Kim. Apparently, the straw that broke Mauricio’s back when it comes to Kim is the November, 2014, incident where her dog bit his daughter, Alexia. The source explained that Mauricio and Kyle were angered by Kim’s nonchalance attitude over what her dog did.
“There was no offer for financial compensation. They wouldn’t have accepted it, but the gesture would have made a big difference… Mauricio never wants to see Kim ever again. She has caused nothing but sadness and grief to Kyle.”
A preview clip for the Season 5 reunion show posted on Us Weekly shows Kim Richards and Kyle Richards arguing over the dog bite incident. “You’re horrible!” Kim screams at Kyle after she tells host Andy Cohen that Kim’s dog bit her daughter. Kyle cries back that her daughter almost lost her hand, to which Kim coldly says, “I’ll tell the story and you won’t like it.” “Oh wow…” Kyle responds back in disgust.
The Radar Online story also quoted the source as saying that Mauricio is “disgusted with Kim’s antics and how ungrateful he thinks she has been towards Kyle.”
“For years before RHOBH, the couple helped financially support Kim. From paying for car repairs to tuition bills, Kyle always gave money whenever she asked. This was before Mauricio became wildly successful. At the beginning, times were lean. Any extra money Kyle and Mauricio had went to Kim.”
During a recent episode, Kim Richards again brought up the accusation that Kyle Richards stole their mom’s house from under her, an accusation that she first made on the first season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kyle finally responded to Kim’s accusation in a blog post, explaining that the notion that their mom’s house should have been passed on to Kim because she solely paid for it with her earnings as a child actor is false and that Kim had plenty of notice of the sale and was paid properly for it.
