Mariah Carey Dating Brett Ratner? Report Claims It’s ‘Serious’
Has Mariah Carey moved on to a new man?
A recent report claims that the Beautiful singer is now dating director Brett Ratner.
According to Radar Online, an inside source spoke openly about the alleged new couple’s relationship and its current status.
“Their relationship has progressed in recent weeks and is now very serious. They’re a hot couple.”
The insider also revealed to Radar that Mariah Carey and Brett Ratner spent some time together during a recent Caribbean vacation to celebrate their March birthdays.
Taking a private jet owned by James Packer, an Australian billionaire, Mariah and Brett reportedly flew from a private Los Angeles airport to St. Bart’s on Friday.
Radar claims that the two longtime friends are expected to stay on a 190-foot, $70 million yacht named Ultima III.
Brett and Mariah have known one another for quite some time.
On a professional level, Ratner directed quite a few of her most memorable music videos — including “We Belong Together” and “Heartbreaker.”

The first music video that the Rush Hour director worked on for Mariah Carey was for her 1998 cover of the hit Brenda K. Starr song, “I Still Believe.”

Further reports claim that, on a personal note, Brett proved to be a big help as her marriage to her estranged husband, Nick Cannon, came to an end.
Neither Mariah nor Brett have publicly confirmed that they are romantically involved with one another.
However, Brett did post a picture of himself and Mariah Carey alongside Courtney Love on his official Instagram page earlier this week.
“I love these ladies.”
The same caption and a link to the Instagram photo were also posted on Brett Ratner’s official Twitter page Tuesday.
Brett Ratner famously dated tennis star Serena Williams from 2004 to 2005, according to Daily Mail.
Long before Mariah Carey married Nick Cannon, she was married to Tommy Mottola from 1993 to 1998.
Nearly ten years later, Mariah became a wife for the second time when she married Nick in April of 2008.
During the course of their marriage, Mariah and Nick welcomed a set of twins into the world — Moroccan and Monroe.
Mariah Carey’s future ex-husband has reportedly moved on with his love life as well, since multiple reports have linked Nick to model Jessica White.
