Bill Cosby Accusations Keep Coming: Two New Women Make Rape Allegations Against Comedian
Bill Cosby is yet again facing drug and rape allegations as two new women came forward Friday to claim the comedian sexually assaulted them. One woman claims she was only 17 when the alleged assault occurred.
At a press conference held by Gloria Allred, both women said they were victimized by the comedian in much the same way as the 30-plus women who have already come forward, according to New York Daily News.
Sunni Welles said she was just 17 years old when she met Bill Cosby in the 1960s. According to the new accuser, the comedian took advantage of the fact that she was an aspiring singer by inviting her to a jazz club and slipping something into her soda.
“I don’t remember leaving the club. I don’t remember driving anywhere else. What I do remember next was waking up naked in a bed alone in a sparsely furnished apartment. When I got home, I showered and felt as if I had had sex.”
When Welles spoke to Cosby after the incident, she alleges the comedian told her she must have gotten drunk on champagne and stripped her clothes off. The victim then went on another outing with Cosby after the incident and history repeated itself.
“I remember drinking a Coke and again I awakened in the same room alone and naked. This time I didn’t call him and I never heard from Bill Cosby again.”
The second accuser at Allred’s press conference, Margie Shapiro, says Cosby assaulted her when the two went to the Playboy Mansion in the 1970s, according to the Wrap. After spending the day on set with the comedian, Shapiro alleges the two did not go directly to the mansion, but into a room with pinball games. She maintains Cosby told her whoever lost at pinball had to take a pill. She lost, took the pill, and blacked out. When she awoke, she alleges Bill Cosby was raping her.
“I came to a little and the first thing I saw was Bill Cosby’s face not far above me and we were both naked. He was inside me and touching me and I was so grossed out, I can’t find the words to express my disgust.”
Shapiro and Welles join over 30 women who have come forward since late last year to make drug and rape allegations against Bill Cosby. The 77-year-old comedian has yet to face criminal charges in any of the cases. However, three women are suing The Cosby Show dad in civil court. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Gloria Allred, who represents several of the accusers, has promised she is in no way finished with Bill Cosby, as she has more alleged victims who will come forward.
