‘Teen Mom’ Custody Battle: Chelsea Houska & Adam Lind Court Update
A Teen Mom custody battle is brewing between Chelsea Houska and her ex-boyfriend, Adam Lind, the father of her 5-year-old daughter, Aubree.
“Adam served Chelsea with papers in January, wanting unsupervised visits with Aubree and to be able to drive in the car with her,” an insider revealed to Radar Online on March 27. “Both Chelsea and Adam went to court on Monday about his request.”
When Houska took the stand during her Teen Mom custody battle, she spotlighted Lind’s record, which includes a number of DUIs and other charges.
“She brought up his long history of arrests and allegations of steroid use.”
Although Lind denies using steroids, Houska has plenty more reasons for not wanting her daughter left alone with Lind. As was pointed out during the Teen Mom custody battle, Lind has driven while intoxicated a reported three times, and just last year, was involved in a fiery car crash. In addition, Lind was accused of attacking his ex-girlfriend, Brooke Beaton, at a bike race at the end of last year. While the charge was eventually dropped, that wasn’t the only occasion in which he was accused of getting physical. Jessica Nicole, whom he also dated last year, claimed in October that he once got violent with her, leaving her with bruises.
At the end of the latest Teen Mom custody battle hearing, a judge sided with Houska and denied Lind’s request for more rights to Aubree.
“The judge said Adam has to go 6 months without any arrests or trouble before he will even think about changing the visitation.”
Lind currently sees Aubree every other weekend, under the supervision of his parents.
According to the Radar Online source, Lind could be pursuing the Teen Mom custody battle for Aubree in an effort to look good to viewers of the show.
“He always tries to make it look like he’s trying when they’re filming.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Lind was arrested in court on Monday, following his and Houska’s Teen Mom custody battle hearing.
“At the end the judge told him he had a warrant for his arrest, and he was arrested then and there,” a source told Starcasm.
Although the Teen Mom custody battle between Houska and Lind has been taking place during production on Teen Mom 2 Season 6, it has yet to be confirmed whether or not fans will see details of the hearing on the show.
