The latest rumor regarding the first footage of Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice has teased that the blockbuster’s debut trailer will premiere at WonderCon.
This speculation began to swirl after a mystery panel at WonderCon emerged. It turns out that no one really knows what will unfold at the specific event, which will be held on Saturday, April 4, between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. All that is known is that it will be hosted by Warner Bros., the studio behind DC’s burgeoning cinematic universe, which includes Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice.
And because we’re yet to see any footage from Zack Snyder’s hugely anticipated sequel to Man Of Steel , which will pit Clark Kent’s Superman against Bruce Wayne’s Batman, various rumors have suggested that the mystery panel will see the unveiling of the trailer.

WonderCon Anaheim is due to begin at the start of April, and it will feature a whole host of comic-book related panels and talks. And while you can understand why rumors have started to emerge that Warner Bros. will debut Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice footage at the event, it does feel a little bit like wishful thinking.
Studios usually like to save their biggest trailers for their comic-book related movies for San Diego’s Comic Con. However the fact that SDCC is over three months away means that Warner Bros. will probably premiere Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice’s first trailer before that point. A safer bet is that panel will see the premiere of new footage for either San Andreas or Mad Max: Fury Road instead.
However, Warner Bros. might just decide to release the first trailer for Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice at WonderCon to try and take some attention away from the release of Avengers: Age Of Ultron . The sequel to 2012’s The Avengers, which ultimately became the third highest grossing movie of all time, is due out on May 1.
Another reason why Warner Bros. might release the trailer at WonderCon is that no-one would be suspecting it, plus, now that we are less than a year away from the release date of Batman V Superman, fans are beginning to pine and harbor for footage of Henry Cavill’s Superman, Ben Affleck’s Batman and Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor. Hopefully, we won’t have that much longer to wait.
