‘Survivor’ Star J’Tia Marries: Taylor Weds Graeme Hart In Florida Animal-Themed Event
Survivor star J’Tia married fiance Graeme Hart in Florida a few days ago, and fans are thrilled for her. J’Tia Taylor competed on the Survivor: Cagayan season and she had several fellow castaways present at her wedding as guests. From the sounds of things, J’Tia and Graeme’s big day was an event that combined traditional touches with a unique flair.
People shares the photos as Survivor star J’Tia married Graeme. The wedding took place at the Nyami Nyami River Lodge, located in the Brevard Zoo in Florida. The bride wore a Winnie Couture sheath gown, and she donned heels with a zebra pattern on them. The groom showcased a waistcoat that had both the United States and United Kingdom flags on them — an ode to his British heritage, it seems.
Though many eyes were on the gorgeous bride, numerous animal touches, both real and in terms of decorations, were catching the eyes of guests, as well. Guests were highly encouraged to wear wild headgear and accessories in a nod to the animal-themed affair. While the photos shared so far by People show fairly formal and classic looks, it sounds as if there were wild touches brought in for fun throughout the day.
As Us Weekly notes, guests were able to check out both a chinchilla and a snake as they waited for the wedding ceremony to begin. Fellow Survivor: Brains vs. Brawn vs. Beauty castaways at the big day included Spencer Bledsoe, LaTasha Fox, Kass McQuillen, and Brice Johnson.
While Taylor is remembered in part for her moment on the show where she threw her tribe’s rice into the fire to get back at them for a pending elimination, she threw no such fits on her wedding day. Guests were treated to an enticing wedding day menu that included salmon crostini, conch fritters, lobster macaroni, and cheese and crab-stuffed barramundi.
About 125 guests attended Survivor star J’Tia’s wedding, and the couple shared via their website that they chose Florida because Taylor’s maternal grandmother is from Cocoa and J’Tia has fond memories of the area. Family and friends traveled from both near and far to celebrate the big day with the happy couple.
A reception was held after the wedding, and guests embraced a party on Cocoa Beach the day after the wedding. The couple currently lives in Chicago and reportedly headed to Panama for their honeymoon.
Fans are thrilled to hear that the big event, with Survivor star J’Tia marrying her love, Graeme, went off so well, as it looks like it was a fun-filled, grand event. Season 30 of Survivor, themed “Worlds Apart,” is currently airing on CBS.
