WWE News: WWE NXT Star Finn Balor To Be Called Up Shortly After WrestleMania?
The WWE Raw after WrestleMania is always the best WWE Raw of the year. Something amazing always takes place to leave the hot WrestleMania crowd happy. WWE has even dubbed it the best episode of the year. Last year, Cesaro turned his back on Zeb Colter to align himself with Paul Heyman. Evolution and the Shield had an epic brawl, which led to Triple H taking a spear from Roman Reigns.
Heyman delivered a legendary promo about Brock Lesnar defeating the Undertaker at WrestleMania 30. Paige debuted on the WWE’s main roster and defeated AJ Lee to win her first-ever Divas championship. Daniel Bryan stood in the middle of the WWE ring and chanted, “You deserve it,” at the top of their lungs. Lastly, the Ultimate Warrior delivered his last promo on his last appearance on WWE programming.
Altogether, this year’s WWE Raw after WrestleMania is set to be as good as the rest, if not better. One huge rumor that is floating around is the possibility of the Undertaker calling out Sting, leading to a match at WrestleMania 32. Another big rumor is the potential groundbreaking-debut on WWE’s main roster. According to Wrestling Inc., the most-popular WWE NXT star might be headed to WWE Raw very soon.
“There continues to be talk from within WWE NXT that Finn Balor is getting called up shortly after WrestleMania 31.”
Finn Balor is getting better with every appearance on WWE NXT. The best part about Balor’s gimmick is the lack of promos on-screen. He is the most-over wrestler on WWE NXT and the longest promo in his WWE career hasn’t lasted longer than three minutes. Normally, WWE superstars will win over the WWE Universe with their microphone ability.
It’s kind of like the Chris Benoit-effect, which is rare to see in today’s WWE. Benoit was not known for his promo skills. He did absolutely fine when given the stick, but he won over the WWE fans with his wrestling ability. Benoit is still one of the best in-ring technicians in WWE history. His wrestling career was cut short, but he’s still not forgotten.
Balor, along with Kevin Owens and many others, are changing the landscape of wrestling each month. Owens and Balor are set to wrestle for the NXT championship tonight. If Balor is expected to come up to the WWE’s main roster, then he will lose on tonight’s edition of WWE NXT. Balor, like Owens, is undefeated in his tenure in WWE. That will probably end, which will send him to WWE Raw.
Vince McMahon and Triple H are huge fans of Balor, which almost guarantees his destination after WWE NXT. It’s already been decided, as far as the WWE fans know, that Balor’s gimmick will not be altered. He is “too over” for that to happen. As of right now, Balor will be up on the WWE’s main roster soon. There’s a chance it will be on the WWE Raw after WrestleMania.
