Adam Lind Arrested: ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Taken Into Custody After Failing To Pay Child Support

Adam Lind of MTV’s Teen Mom 2 was arrested on Monday, March 23, after allegedly failing to pay child support. According to a report by Starcasm on March 24, the father of two was taken into custody in Lincoln County, South Dakota, on a warrant for a failure to appear.

The report claimed a source close to Adam Lind revealed his arrest, and failure to appear, stemmed from his lack of child support, although it was unclear whether the past due amount was for his oldest child, Aubree, whose mother is Teen Mom 2 star Chelsea Houska, or from his one-year-old daughter, Paislee, from his previous relationship with Taylor Halbur.

In October of last year, Halbur reportedly filed paper work against Adam Lind, requesting he pay child support for Paislee. At the time, a source revealed the following to Radar Online.

“[Adam Lind] has never paid Taylor any child support since Paislee was born. Originally, the court had requested that Adam pay $550 a month, but Taylor never saw that money, and she never followed through with getting Adam to pay because they were still in a relationship on and off, but now that they are not together anymore, it’s about time that Adam helps out.”

In response to Halbur’s court documents, Adam Lind reportedly threatened Halbur, claiming he would go for full custody of the child, but because of his history, which includes a number of DUIs, Halbur was unconcerned.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Adam Lind was most recently linked to a married mother of two named Danielle Nord. While the Teen Mom 2 star denied being anything more than friends at the time of the Radar Online report in December of last year, a source claimed the two were secretly dating.

“They’ve been on and off for about a year, when Adam wasn’t with a girlfriend. Now they are ‘on’ and taking things slow.”

Adam Lind dated Houska on and off for years, as fans saw on Teen Mom 2. However, their relationship was always plagued with drama, and Houska was often left feeling less than enthused by Lind’s ability to settle down.

After his relationship with Houska ended, Adam Lind began dating Halbur, and while their relationship was on and off, as well, they eventually moved in together and welcomed a daughter. They even exchanged promise rings. Then, just months after Paislee’s birth, Adam Lind found himself single yet again.

Adam Lind will return to MTV in Teen Mom 2 Season 6 later this year.
