Michael Cerussi Split: ‘RHONY’ Star Bethenny Frankel Confirms Breakup, Talks Future Relationships
Michael Cerussi and Bethenny Frankel reportedly split a couple of weeks ago, and in a new interview, the Real Housewives of New York City confirmed the news.
“Right now, I’m single,” Frankel told People Magazine on March 24.
Michael Cerussi began dating Frankel about a year after she split from husband Jason Hoppy, and the two took their relationship public in late 2013. After debuting their romance, Michael Cerussi and Frankel appeared publicly a handful of times, but, for the most part, kept their relationship away from the cameras — and away from the red carpet.
“I’ve been through a lot with exposing all my personal life so I’m not making any grand statements anymore, but if there was somebody significant I would [say so].”
As for her future relationships, Frankel claimed to be a bit hesitant.
“I’ve never dated anyone in this crazy world that I live in now and I don’t think I would want to. I would only want to date someone low-profile.”
Now that she’s famous, and currently starring on a reality show, Frankel is sure to face challenges when it comes to keeping her private life private. However, she managed to do just that in her relationship with Michael Cerussi. While they were photographed together on a couple of different occasions, not much is known about their relationship, as far as how they met or when they were spending time together.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, a source claims Frankel split with Michael Cerussi because of their differing lifestyles.
“They’re in different places in their lives and they were headed down different paths,” a source told Us Weekly.
“They were cohabitating for a bit, but are not anymore. She’s been dating other people. She’d be happy in a committed relationship with someone new, but truly doesn’t want to get married again.”
During her relationship with Michael Cerussi, Frankel reportedly allowed him to film briefly for The Real Housewives of New York City, but was later said to have banned him from Bravo.
At the end of last year, a source told Radar Online that Frankel was being “very secretive about Michael, and their relationship whenever she has been filming.”
“Expect Michael to pop up in scenes, but it won’t be in depth.”
