Jason Aldean Marries Brittany Kerr: Country Superstar Weds ‘American Idol’ Contestant As Daughters Croon

Jason Aldean has married Brittany Kerr, and the two singing stars say that their wedding day constituted the best day of their lives. The two invited only close friends and family to their Mexico ceremony, reported MSN.

Duck Dynasty reality TV star, Willie Robertson, and Jason’s two daughters (who are now Kerr’s stepdaughters), attended the ceremony of the country superstar and former American Idol contestant.

Jason told Us Weekly that he feels exuberant about his future, while Brittany expressed her feeling that Aldean is both her true love and her best friend.

“This is the best day ever – I’ve got my girl here, my friends, my family – it’s the best day ever!” crooned Jason.

And Kerr couldn’t stop herself from becoming extravagant in her superlatives as well.

“Today has been the best day of my life. I feel like the luckiest woman to have been able to marry my best friend.”

Kerr and Aldean previously had an engagement party in Nashville for about 100 guests. Those heading to sip champagne on their behalf included Luke Bryan and Eric Church.

The now-married couple also celebrated Christmas with Jason’s daughters, posting the celebration on Instagram. Kendyl is 7-years-old, while Keeley is 13. Both share the same mom, who is Jessica Ussery, Jason’s ex-wife, and the girls are still getting used to having a new woman in their dad’s life, reported Us Weekly.

“Jason is working Brittany into Kendyl and Keeley’s lives, yet they see her as the other woman,” revealed a source. “It’s hard. They’re important to him.”

But Jason insists that the controversy over his relationship with Brittany has calmed down, and he feels that they can form a family forever.

“This year has been a good year for us. All of this… now [Brittany] can come out to shows and be normal. All the craziness around us has died down, and that’s been the coolest thing about this year.”

The relationship between Aldean and Kerr began in 2012. He was observed kissing her in Los Angeles, but he was still married at the time. Jason subsequently filed for divorce in 2013, followed by their engagement in September 2014.
