Country Superstar Jason Aldean Marries Brittany Kerr, And They Are ‘Just Gettin’ Started’

Country superstar Jason Aldean married his girlfriend of two years, Brittany Kerr on Saturday evening in Mexico. Aldean, 38, and Kerr, 27, were married about a year after taking their relationship public.

In an interview with US Magazine, Aldean talks about his wedding saying, “I’ve got my girl here, my friends, my family — it’s the best day ever!”

New wife Kerr, quickly jumped in and added, “Today has been the best day of my life. I feel like the luckiest woman to have been able to marry my best friend.”

Aldean was first linked to the former American Idol contestant in 2012, when a photographer snapped pictures of the pair kissing at a late night bar. At the time, Aldean told the press that nothing was going on and he went back to his hotel alone that night, but rumors quickly began to circulate about the singer and his mistress.

In April of 2013, Jason filed for divorce from his wife of 12 years, Jessica Ussery. His decision to leave his wife caused quite a backlash for the singer. He was attacked on social media relentlessly for cheating and then for leaving Jessica.

In August of 2014, Aldean posted a picture of himself with Brittany, and was completely dismayed by all the hateful comments that were left on his photo. The Huffington Post reports that Aldean fired back at the critics by posting the following.

“YOU KNOW MY NAME, NOT MY STORY. YOU’VE HEARD WHAT I’VE DONE, NOT WHAT I’VE BEEN THROUGH”

To make his feelings about how he views other people’s opinions perfectly clear, Aldean captioned the photo by saying.

“So sick of people judging me and @brittanylkerr over things they know nothing about. I have made mistakes but i am a better person because of it, and wouldnt change a thing. Im happier than i have ever been, so thank u to all the people who support us. We are happy and life goes on. Its time to move on people. #aldeanarmy #oldnews #timetomoveon.”

Aldean has moved on to bigger and better things it seems. With his ‘Burnin’ It Down Tour’, a new album, more number one hits and his tour hooking up with Kenny Chesney’s new tour on select dates, Jason seems to have finally found his happiness.

The biggest thing Aldean has to be happy about is his new blushing bride.

The pair was rumored to have been married back in January according to a previous report by the Inquisitr, but Aldean’s representatives quickly shot those rumors down.

Kerr and Aldean are finally, officially married, and according to them they had a great wedding surrounded by family and friends. Among the guests at the wedding were, long time friends Luke Bryan and Willie Robertson from Duck Dynasty, country superstar Eric Church, and Aldean’s two daughters with ex-wife Jessica Ussery, Keely, 12 years-old, and Kendyl, 7 years-old.
