Man Cheers Himself Up By Showing Meijer Employees Pictures Of His Privates, Has Long History Of Convictions

A 51-year-old man with a prior convictions in Michigan told police that showing his penis to Meijer employees cheers him up when he’s feeling down. Allegedly, David Keith Slovinski admitted to showing pictures of his penis to unsuspecting employees at the supermarket chain to an investigator with the Grandville Police. Slovinski has been a repeat offender of similar crimes and has been on a GPS tether.

His tether and security camera evidence place him at two different Meijer stores within two days and when questioned about showing the unsuspecting workers pictures of his penis that he had saved to his phone, he said, “Yeah, it cheers me up when I’m feeling down,” according to an affidavit provided to Grandville District Court.

Before being arrested after allegedly showing a female Meijer employee who was working in the electronics department pictures of of his penis, he spent 12 years in prison following a 1998 criminal sexual conduct charge. He has spent time in the slammer involving indecent exposure and peeping in windows, according to the State of Michigan.

With repeated offenses, David Keith Slovinski was already considered sexually delinquent, so the court can keep him in jail, if he is convicted, for as long as he is still considered a threat. If the judge chooses, and if he is convicted, he could end up in jail for the rest of his life for showing grocery store employees the pictures of his penis, according to MLIVE. Slovinski will appear before Kent County Circuit Court Judge Dennis Leiber. The man waived his right to probable cause hearings in both Grandville and Wyoming, Michigan earlier this week.

Online, many are laughing and saying that life in prison is too stiff of a consequence for the crime.

“With all due respect to the Meijer employees, a good giggle is the appropriate response here, not Life in Prison.”

Still, besides for his alleged bizarre way of cheering himself up and the other sexually-related crimes, this purported penis selfie fan has also been sentenced for fleeing from an officer, attempted extortion, attempted assault with intent to do great bodily harm, and failure to register as a sex offender.

David Keith Slovinski allegedly admitted that he knows that showing people pictures of his penis is wrong, but that their reactions were enjoyable to him.
