Reality stars Jenelle Evans and Nathan Griffith have rekindled their relationship, and now, a friend of the Teen Mom 2 couple has revealed why.
“Jenelle is taking Nathan back,” a friend of the reality stars told Radar Online on March 19. “They are working things out.”
“Jenelle decided to take Nathan back because they have a family and a house together. Jenelle loves her life. And it’s hard enough for Jenelle living without Nathan now.”
Since they began dating in June, 2013, the reality stars have been hot and heavy — but that’s nothing new for Evans. Since fans met her on Teen Mom 2 , she’s been known to move quickly when she meets a guy. When it came to Griffith, he and Evans were living together within a month of dating, and Evans became pregnant just a few months after that.
Following the June, 2014, birth of their first son, Kaiser, the reality stars appeared to be sailing smoothly in their relationship, and in January of this year, they became engaged. Unfortunately, their happy times quickly came to an end on March 4, when Griffith reportedly assaulted Evans , pinning her to a toilet and ripping off her engagement ring.
After his arrest, Griffith was ordered to stay away from Evans, which he did. However, weeks later, the two reportedly began communicating through a friend of his.
“Jenelle and Nathan have not been speaking directly to each other, but Jenelle has been speaking to Nathan’s friend Josh, who Nathan is currently staying with. Josh tells Jenelle how Nathan’s been feeling and that Nathan said he wants to work it out. Nathan also said that he was very sorry for the way that he pushed Jenelle away so badly for no reason the day of the arrest.”
According to Radar Online ‘s source, the reality stars’ engagement is officially back on, and Evans has seemingly confirmed the news on Twitter, by sharing a photo of her engagement ring.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, the no contact order in place against Griffith will likely be lifted in the near future — or possibly already has. Earlier this week, Radar Online claimed Evans was rallying to have the order removed, and hoping to have charges against Griffith dropped , as well.
For the last several weeks, the reality stars have been filming with MTV, although it is unclear whether or not their fight or reconciliation will be seen on the show.
