Jay-Z Rare Freestyle Video: Jay-Z And DMX Classic Freestyle Battle Goes Viral Again, Security Guard Wins The Battle [Video]

Some of the most memorable moments in music and rap are the candid ones. Jay-Z and DMX’s classic freestyle battle in no different. It’s just one of those rare videos that never gets old! Now, it’s circulating on social media yet again. On March 15, the classic footage was uploaded to World Star Hip Hop. With over 2,500 shares, the video has been viewed nearly 600,000 times and has 3,000 comments.

The two-minute video begins with Jay-Z’s freestyle. Of course, he delivers as expected. Then, DMX takes over with his verse. However, the battle became a bit more interesting when the security guard jumped in with a verse of his own. Based on the crowd’s response, it’s quite clear the security guard ended up winning the battle. As a matter of fact, both rappers took the time to praise the security guard for his verse.

Of course many viewers have argued about who actually won the battle. Avid Jay-Z fans felt the American Gangster rapper won, while the loyal DMX fans ranted about how underrated he’s always been. With so many successful records and albums, it’s probably safe to say DMX has always been a bit underrated. However, others agreed that the security guard did, indeed, win the battle
