Peter Dinklage Of ‘Game Of Thrones’ Co-Stars With Adam Sandler In ‘Pixels’ [Trailer]
Looks like our favorite Game of Thrones actor Peter Dinklage is on a roll and seems to be bagging one role after another in films featuring big-name Hollywood stars. In his most recent movie entitled Pixels, Dinklage acts alongside famed comedian Adam Sandler.
The movie’s trailer was released to the public yesterday and has been receiving mixed reviews. Regardless of public opinion, the movie’s cast is packed with some of Hollywood’s big guys and is directed by one of the industry’s most talented directors, Chris Columbus, who also directed the first two Harry Potter films.
In the movie, Dinklage plays the role of an old school arcade gamer. Together with his fellow gamers played by Josh Gad as their leader, and a home theater installer played by Sandler, they defended the earth from aliens who misinterpret human contact and send videogame villains to annihilate the planet. They are also joined by Michelle Monaghan, who takes on the role of a weapons specialist.
Pixels opens in theatres worldwide in July, and whether the movie proves to be a success or not, things are looking up for Dinklage as rumors of a possible movie with Batman action star Christian Bale are circling Hollywood. Variety reported that the actor playing Tyrion Lannister is already in “early talks” about working with Bale in Fox 2000’s The Deep Blue Good-By.
